A multiple bet

A multiple is simply a single bet, which is placed on two different selections, whose odds are then multiplied together.

For example, if the Yankees are priced at 2.0 to beat the Blue Jays and the Red Sox are priced at 5.0 to beat the A’s, you can place a double on the Yankees to win AND the Red Sox to win at 10.0.

This is calculated by multiplying 2.0 by 5.0 and means a $10 double on these two games at 10.0 would pay out $100 (including stake) if both sides were to win.

To win a double, both selections must win. You can add as many selections to your multiple bet as you please.

A multiple bet can also be referred to as a parlay.
